Bengaluru, Jan 6: Second Pre-University exams will be conducted in the second week of May, while the SSLC exams are expected to be held in the first week of June, announced the state primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar on Wednesday, January 6.
“The syllabus for teaching and studying in view of the examinations have been finalised. The details of this are being conveyed to all the schools. Only minimum possible lessons are considered so as not to burden the students,” he stated in a press release.
No reduction in the syllabus for Class 1 to 9:
“An alternative time table for Class 1 to 9 has been finalized. There is no proposal with the department to reduce the syllabus for those classes. As the examination valuation will be done at the school level, simple valuation considering the capacity of students is being conducted,” he said.
