Udupi: Newlywed couple help in providing electricity to needy family

Udupi, Jan 3: In a heart-warming incident, a newlywed couple on their wedding day inaugurated an electrical control board provided by them to a Dalit family.
 
The groom Sharan Shetty and bride Navya Shetty made financial contributions so that electricity was supplied to Leela's family. Aasare Charitable Trust (R) along with Udupi Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava Samiti Kadiyali provided the electricity connection to the family. The couple donated the total amount required for supplying the power connection to the Trust and stepped into the role of sponsors for the noble deed.
 








 
Soon after their wedding ceremony, the couple paid a visit to Leela's house and inaugurated the control board.
 
K Raghavendra Kini, chief secretary Aasare Charitable Trust, Sathish K Kulal, treasurer, Chethan Kumar, Anil Sherigar, Ovin, Ashwin Shetty, Arun S Poojary, Prashanth Perampalli, Dennis Prasanna, Akash Poojary, Yashodha and the family of Sharan and Navya Shetty were present on the occasion.

    I thought Modi and BJP has provided electricity to every home in last 6 years.

    They claimed that 100% electrification of the houses. May be another Jumla.

    Very happy married life to navya shetty & sharan shetty.
    The main credit goes to navya shetty, in our bunt community, ladies play the key role, ladies are the key decision maker, they are like a captain ( Majority of them are dominant ladies😄😍🤭)
