Mumbai, Jun 7: The sale of sets of 52 books released during ‘Vishwa Tulu Sammelan’ held in December 2009 at Ujire, near Dharmasthala of Beltangady taluk in Dakshina Kannada district, was inaugurated in the metro on Saturday June 5.
Prof M P Srinath of SDM College, Ujire, and Bharatkumar Polipu, vice-president, metro-based Karnataka Sangh and award winning dramatist, inaugurated the sale in a function held at Karnataka Sangh office, Matunga (West), on Saturday.
Karnataka Sangh honorary chief secretary Omdas Kannangar, honorary treasurer B G Nayak, and award winning dramatist Sa Daya (Dayanand Salian) were also present.
“The DVD on Vishwa Tulu Sammelan–2009 which was earlier released by Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadikari of Dharmasthala is in great demand in the metro”, said Prof Srinath.
