BJP victory in the Gram Panchayat polls, were clearly forecasted, by political pundits. INC has been decimated, primarily due to the division of votes between their closest ally, the SDPI... Had these two parties, merged together, perhaps the final tally would have been more respectable !!! For survival the INC must seriously contemplate merging with these organizations !!!!!

From the results its very obvious that Congress has no future in DK. BJP getting stronger and SDPI forming a new opposition. Congress has to rethink its strategy to revive. Time and again its proven that the current leadership or potential candidates do no carry that punch to revive the party. The out dated strategies by rejected leaders. Modi, BJP bashing, pettist mentality, processions for no serious reasons, renamings , pretending to be protectors of minorities and Tulu culture etc do not garner support and votes. The result clearly states that people will not accept this. You cannot blame God and Modi always.
