With present day cost of living or price index, low income families find it hard to maintain their living needs.

Children have their own requirements and if the mother is short of money she cannot fulfil children's needs. Some guy earn but half the salary goes on drinks. How these families can eat mutton or chicken. Beef must have disappeared from the stalls.

This woman perhaps wasn't particularly 'smart'.

The 'smart' women always provoke the husband to beat up the children. So, the husband remains the bad person.

Mangalurean, in this case husband has provoked his wife to do such heinous act and he has disappeared by blackmailing her or by not giving sufficient money to run the house. For your information, there are so many who provoke their wives by giving mental torture... Got it???

Mangalorean Mangalore, here I see so many people comment about that mother who was beating.Without knowing ABC one shouldnt comment. In India many parents hit children for small things.May be this mother was in stress, sick?had hardly money to feed the child.we dont know.I feel the person who informed child unit has done one side a good act to save child.Other side where this child is in rescue home.Do we know how there is child treated?.I am sure child must be missing her mother badly.is not good.I feel this Santhosh ?could have first inquired about their condition ,why she was thrashig the child ,whether could have improved their condition?Etc.Always first find out before you call officials.Who knows whether this child sees her mother ever?Hope their condition improves and child comes back safe.

The most expensive liquid in the world is tears. It is 1% water and 99% feelings. Think before hurting someone or beating your child. It is disgusting to note a woman is beating her own eight year old innocent daughter mercilessly. It is unfortunate for a child to have such a mother.

In front of my apartment in Mumbai in the next building, we could watch a tuition teacher threatening very young students with burning candles regularly. Probably she might not have burned any student. After looking at the scene two three times, my daughter shouted and told her, she would inform police. Afterwards, that tuition teacher stopped it or might have been doing in in closed room.

Santan sir, I too heard about it and experienced also. My nephew who was there years old and very talkative like parrot all the time was admitted to nursery. Naturally, toddlers cry when they go to an unknown house. Looking at other children cry, my nephew too started crying little more and almost everyday he was crying. That lady put him in the bathroom because he was crying. In the afternoon when he came home he lost voice... Most probably because of screaming. After that he developed stammering... And he finished his college... Still stammers.. Even after showing him to some specialist he didn't overcome... I heard about some of the baby sitters, tuition teachers frighten the children.... I agree with you...
