Margao, Jun 4: Pavlam, a Konkani audio album by Sanjay Borkar will be released at Venkateshleela Hotel, Ponda here on Sunday June 6.

Noted lyricist and vice chairperson of Ravindra Bhavan, Shridhar Kamat will release the album. Renowned musician Sidhanath Buyao will be the guest of honor and Vinod Shetye, former manager of Sunaparant (Konkani Daily), will preside over the function.

Borkar‘s first music album for children titled Fulaam Fulaam had very good response. He has is working on another such music album for children.

The album is conceptualized by Borkar. Music arrangement is done by noted musician Mathew Fernandes. Album consists of eight songs, which are penned by Borkar and music is also composed by him.

Internationally famed singer Sonia Shirsat, Bindiya Vast Naik, Shailesh Borkar and Sanjay Borkar have lent their voices for the album.

Bokar has introduced the postal order scheme for the album. Music lovers can buy the audio CD directly by sending in their address through SMS. After receiving the same, CD will be sent to their postal addresses at the cost of Rs 100, although the album costs Rs150.The album has been recorded at Fernandes Studio, Ponda, by Mathew Fernades.
