Kasargod, Dec 26: Three people have been taken into custody in connection to the murder of DYFI activist Abdul Rahman.
The arrested are identified as Irshad, Hassan and Asheer. Irshad was hospitalised after he was injured in the process of getting arrested. He was taken to Kasargod and was produced in the court. He has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody. He was later admitted to Kannur Medical College Hospital for treatment.
On retrieving information from Irshad, police arrested Hassan and Hasheer.
The case has been handed over to crime branch and further investigation is under progress.
It may be recalled, 30-year-old Abdul Rahman DYFI was stabbed to death at Kanhangad in the district on the night of Wednesday December 23.
