Mangaluru, Dec 18: Bajrang Dal will stage a protest on December 23 at taluk office demanding National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into graffiti case and arrest of culprits in the police head constable assault at Alake, informed Bajrang Dal regional secretary Sharan Pumpwell.
Addressing the media here on Friday, December 18, he said, “The recent inflammatory graffiti at two places, shows that terrorist activities might soon begin in Mangaluru. We appreciate the police for the immediate arrest of the culprits. When we look at this case, there is suspicion of terrorist activities taking place. Police should hand over this case to NIA.
“Two miscreants were involved in the police head constable assault incident at Alake which makes one suspects that this must be linked with the graffiti case. Last year during anti-CAA protests, stones were pelted at police and a police station was trying to be set on fire. So they are conspiring on repeating the violence again. Hence, this issue should be considered seriously, stringent action should be taken and the culprits should be arrested soon,” he said.
