Gathering of people without social distance in main roads, public places etc on New Year has also been banned. However, normal activities can be undertaken at these places.

Police commissioners and deputy commissioners can impose added restrictions on select roads and places.

People aged above 65 and children below ten cannot venture out of houses. Use of sanitisers and wearing of masks are compulsory. Thermal scanning and sanitisers in hotels, malls and pubs are compulsory.

"Covid19 pandemic has not faded away, the promised vaccine is still an illusion, hence it is definitely wise and prudent to stay away from public festivities !!! Xmas this year, should be a Thanksgiving day, to the child Jesus, for keeping us safe, alive.... We pray, that this curse will disappear, from the coming new year 2021 !!!" - GOOD MESSAGE BUT is t applicable to certain religion only, why it was not applied when thousands of people gathered at Attur Karkala, india is a demogratic country and the the law and rule should be same to all...

I am certainly in favour of social distancing, wearing of masks and so on but why only now for Christmas and New Year. Marriages are being conducted in halls with more than 500 to 700 people attending them and that too without wearing masks. Why is the government silent on that? What message is this government trying to convey?

Fascism of RSS is clearly in full view. So many temple fairs are taking place where these norms are not enforced at all.

The bacchali govt is just behind minorities. To be very frank, Christian community is the most cultured in this matter. They follow the guidelines 100% without even administration asking them.

But the tragedy is that the govt is not allowing them to celebrate one festival in a manner that is dear to them.

Sadist RSS mentality of harassing minorities.

Abdul bhai, your sadistic rhetoric are extremely negative n in bad taste !! India is the safest homeland for every religious minority.... they have lived peacefully for ages !!! Tragically with the advent of fundamentalists, who are under inspired by hostile aliens, from beyond our borders, have managed to create a sense of alienation, fear, anxiety. This has invariably invited bad vibes from the majority peaceful community...
