Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 14: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 22 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 32,383. Out of these, 404 cases are currently active.

A total of 4,02,670 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,70,287 are negative.

As many as 48 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,248.

A total of 731 deaths have occured so far.

Over 17,093 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 18,07,697 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,907, including 12 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 134 cases are currently active.

Over 2,66,115 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,43,208 have turned out negative.

As many as 13 patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,586.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
