Panaji: Woman dies after pushed by neighbour over quarrel

Panaji, Dec 9: A woman lost her life during a spat with her neighbour. Droupadi Govind Gaude (66) succumbed to her injuries after her neighbour, the accused Pramila Ramdas Naik (46) pushed her during an argument. The deceased was a resident of Mauzowada-Kundaim, Ponda.

The police stated that the two got into an argument after Pramila's son trespassed into Gaude's property. The accused, Pramila was on a visit to her maternal home in Kundaim.

"The victim scolded the child, which was the petty reason for the quarrel. During the argument, the accused woman pushed Gaude to the ground in a fit of rage. The victim was injured and was hospitalized, where she succumbed on Monday due to internal injuries," the police officer said.
