Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 7: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 23 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 32,150. Out of these, 497 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,85,441 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,53,291 are negative.

As many as 65 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,933.

A total of 720 deaths have occured so far, including three deaths on Monday.

Over 15,765 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 16,86,117 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22803, including 14 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 154 cases are currently active.

Over 2,57,556 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,34,753 have turned out negative.

As many as 31 patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,462.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
