Bengaluru: Effect of Burevi cyclone - Coastal districts to receive rain for six days from Dec 7

Bengaluru, Dec 7: Due to the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, Burevi cyclone has hit the coast of South India. The meteorological department has informed that this will cause six days of rain in many districts of Karnataka including the coastal region.

Bengaluru is receiving rains since three days. There is a possibility that the rains might continue on December 7 also in the capital. Coastal districts and south interior parts of the state will receive rains till December 12.

Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Bengaluru city and rural, Chamarajanagar, Shivamogga, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Davanagere, Kolar, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysuru, Tumakuru, Ramanagara and Chitradurga districts are likely to receive rain till December 12.

In addition, as per the weather department, North Karnataka districts like Belagavi, Haveri, Gadag, Dharwad and Hubballi will also receive rain from December 10 to 12.
