Mangaluru, Dec 2: Fishing business was closed completely in the city on Wednesday December 2 owing to the tragedy that occurred in the deep sea in which six fishermen lost their lives.
Fishermen have expressed their rage against the Coast Guard. They are accusing that Coast Guard have just acted as if they were rescuing people during the drowning of the boat but in reality, they have not conducted any operation.
Hundreds of people gathered near the old port of the city. More police security was deployed with several KSRP vans monitoring the situation at spot.
It may be recalled, a fishing boat sank in the Arabian Sea on November 30 night. Bodies of four fishermen have been found. Still mortal remains of two more fishermen have to be fished out from deep sea. Search operation is in progress.
