I think a separate lane for two wheeler's should be there, so that they will be safe. Lost life cannot be brought back so a little alertness from both parties will do a lot of good. There is no point in pointing fingers. The biggest mistake of the driver is fleeing from the scene for which he should be given a very harsh punishment. Accidents happen may be due to negligence or other factors, running away is a cowardly act, instead of helping the victim to get to the hospital.

First of all, heartfelt condolences for the bereaved family. Hope they get all courage and support to go through their loss.
Now wondering 💭 why the driver wanted to flee away without helping, I assume his behavior is learned through our movies and imagined torture from police department.
Finally, a thought should be given on, permitting 2 wheelers on national highways by our dearest government of the people.

Hightime investing in cctv than in useless "buildings" and "monuments" if we want to preserve life! Saves a lot of blame games!!

Condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones. Kudos to Nagaraj Puthran, owner of Jeevan Mithra ambulance for his timely action in getting hold of the driver of the hit and run SUV. This SUV driver must be charged for manslaughter,
and blood money must be obtained from him or his
family. This driver must be be put behind bars as
soon as possible for life, as he must be blind to ram
a Scooty from the rear on a highway! His Drivers'
Licence too must be revoked for good. As many as
such bad drivers are off the roads in Karnataka, so
    much the safer and better.

@richard Thomas : that kind of law obtaining blood money, cancellation of DL, driver behind bars exist only in UAE, US, KSA and many other developing / developed countries. In india it's only, GST, road tax, cricket, election, spirituality, religion, politics, bollywood. the govt itself is very very weak equipped with spartan motor vehicle rules.

Give maximum punishment to Suv Driver, instead of helping the victim, he tried to escape.

Very sad incident. Difficult time for Shreya's beloved parents, siblings, family and friends. May Shreya's soul Rest In Peace. Speedy recovery to Prithivi.

Traffic rules must be amended to give priority (right of the way) to the Pedestrians, Bicycles, Two wheeler s, and Auto rickshaws over four wheel vehicles.

Thanks Nagraj Putran for chasing SUV from Kota to Sastan toll gate; a distance of about four kilometers to get the hit and run driver.

Very sad.First they want to show their stunt ,and when accident happens ,instead of helping victims ,take to heel.cowards.No heart towards sufferers,or injured.more than that injury caused by self. Please dear men ,think it is your own people and try to help injured ones .Never try to run.It makes still worst.Hearteflt sympathy to the family of woman.May God give them enough strenght to bear the pain.May her soul rest in peace.she was so young.Pray the other get well soon.

Mohammed India,I dont see anywhere that they were riding in middle of road.So one should not give imaginary comments.whether one rides in the middle or side ,one should ride very carefully. It is not a excuse for a deadly accident.RIP
