Porvorim, Nov 24: While appreciating the Maharashtra CM for the anti-COVID restrictions on the visitors arriving in his state, Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte said that his Goa counterpart Pramod Sawant is not bothered about the safety of Goans.
Khaunte referred to the Maharashtra government’s decision that people from Goa, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Delhi NCR will be allowed to enter the state only if they test negative for COVID-19.
The MLA tweeted “Maharashtra has taken caution one step further by imposing mandatory COVID-19 Negative certificate for travelers from Goa when it should be the other way round. While @OfficeOfUT values the life of his people our @DrPramodPSawant is not bothered about the safety of Goans.”
“Tell me what you feel, do we deserve such an ant-Goan Chief Minister,” he tweeted.
