Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 17: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 30 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 31,339. Out of these, 681 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,04,173 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,72,834 are negative.

As many as 91 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,962.

A total of 696 deaths have occured so far, including two on Tuesday.

Over 13,245 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 14,34,717 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,400, including 23 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 211 cases are currently active.

Over 2,15,916 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,93,516 have turned out negative.

As many as 36 patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,997.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
