New York, May 9 (IANS) A New Yorker has been detained after he threatened to "pull a Faisal" on his superior, in an apparent reference to Faisal Shahzad who attempted to bomb Times Square.
"He told his boss, 'If I get fired, I'm going to pull a Faisal on you'," New York Post quoted a law-enforcement source as saying.
Faisal Shahzad was arrested as his plane was about to take off from Kennedy airport Monday after he attempted to car bomb bustling Times Square.
Just before 11 a.m. Saturday, Suffolk County cops received a call that the threatening words were uttered, the source said.
The call was classified as a "terroristic threat".
