Nov 11: Dakshina Kannada records 63 fresh corona cases, 1 death; Udupi reports 17 new infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 11: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 63 fresh coronavirus cases on Wednesday raising the tally to 31,065. Out of these, 825 cases are currently active.

A total of 2,84,834 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,53,769 are negative.

As many as 125 people were discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,550.

A total of 690 deaths have occured so far, including one on Wednesday.

Over 12,067 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 13,13,142 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,278, including 17 fresh cases on Wednesday. Out of these, 321 cases are currently active.

Over 2,02,853 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,80,575 have turned out negative.

As many as 31 patients were discharged on Wednesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,771.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
