Bantwal, Nov 11: An appeal was submitted to the deputy commissioner (DC) through the deputy tahsildar by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) in which they urged the administration to form stringent law to prevent Love Jihad.
The appeal which is submitted by the organizations says, "All over the country the number of cases of Love Jihad are increasing in a dangerous manner. Innocent, gullible Hindu girls are falling victims to this trick, which has caused concern to the whole Hindu society. Accordingly, in Karnataka also in almost all the districts the cases of Love Jihad are increasing in a systematic manner. Innocent girls of all sections of Hindu society are falling victims to this. Due to this the incidents of communal tensions, suicide, assault and murder have increased in the state.
"Getting Hindu girls converted to Islam is one of the techniques of religiously blind Islamic Jihad in line with other draconian methods like terrorism, religious conversion, increase in population, polygamy, illegal entry into other countries and grabbing of land. Through this method they are trying to convert the whole nation into Islam religion. This is not only a challenge to India but to the world at large.
"College campuses, women hostels, hotel, cinema theatres, beauty parlours, mobile centres and other business establishments where women visit more are being exploited by the jihadist elements, which make the young girls fall into love. The relation which starts from fun, love, rape, freaking out, visiting hotels and cinema halls ends up in pressure, blackmail and kidnapping. It even goes to the extent of illegal marriage. We request you to form stringent law to prevent Love Jihad, which on the surface looks like simple love but has deep ulterior motive of Islamic Jihad, and protect the innocent Hindu young girls, families and Hindu culture,” said the appeal.
Ashok Shetty Sarapadi, district Goraksha Pramukh of VHP, has urged the district administration and state government to implement law against Love Jihad as soon as possible as the issues and incidents of Love Jihad are increasing by leaps and bounds.
Dharma Prasarana Pramukh Rajaram Nayak, co convener of BD Bharath Kumdelu, district sahasanyojak Gururaj Bantwal, taluk convener Shivaprasad Thumbay, eminent persons like Lathish Ramalkatte, Jithendra Ajjibettu, Vishu Kulal and Santhosh Kulal were present.
