Indian national wins $ 1 million in Dubai Duty Free raffle

Duabi, Nov 5: Luck favoured an Indian national when on Wednesday, November 4 the Bahrain based Indian was announced as the latest winner of the $1 million Dubai Duty Free raffle.

Sunil Kumarkathuria, the winner is a 30 year old, born and brought up in Bahrain held ticket number 3904 in Millennium Millionaire Series 342.

Kumarkathuria was delighted learning that the ticket number that his father selected online made him a millionaire. Kumarkathuria has been a regular participant to the Dubai Duty Free promotion for 15 years now.

Excited and expressing his gratitude to Dubai Duty Free Sunil said, "Thank you Dubai Duty Free for making my dream come true and I wish all the people behind this amazing promotion all the best."

Kumarkathuria is the 170th Indian national to have won $1 million since the start of the Millennium Millionaire promotion in 1999. Indian nationals make up the highest number of Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire ticket buyers.
