Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 3: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 123 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 30,515. Out of these, 1,687 cases are currently active.

A total of 2,61,357 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,30,842 are negative.

As many as 147 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 28,146.

A total of 680 deaths have occured so far, including one on Tuesday.

Over 10,991 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 12,07,627 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 21,985, including 21 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 463 cases are currently active.

Over 1,88,454 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,66,469 have turned out negative.

As many as 109 patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 21,341.

A total of 183 deaths have occured so far.
