Puttur, Nov 3: In the accident which occurred on the evening of Monday November 2 near Darbe bypass on Mani-Mysuru highway in the city, two pedestrians, a girl student and a woman, lost their lives.

The victims of the accident have been identified as Swathi (7), daughter of Gopinath and Kavitha couple living at Padil in the city, and Geetha (44). Swathi succumbed to her injuries on the spot while Geetha's death occurred at a hospital in Mangaluru. There are many vehicles which are sold but never transferred to the new owner so that all offences are registered in the old owner's name, not only that, such cars are rented out as self driven taxis.Police should start a drive to catch and impound all such vehicles.

Dear Rohan what is the fault if someone drives his friend car. Is there any law that only the owner should drive any vehicle. Please dont rush. God bless you with patience.
