Mumbai, May 2: A meeting to condole the death of Kutpady Anand Ganiga, renowned theatre person, Karnataka Rajyotsav award winner and active member of NGO - Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (JSKPPS) in Udupi district at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (East) here, recently. The condolence meeting was jointly organized by metro-based JSKPPS and Ganiga Samaj.
JSKPPS founder president Tonse Jayakrishna V Shetty said that the great personalities leave behind the legacy of their good deeds, which is true with Ganiga, who had supported many a talented artistes in his life.
Ganiga Samaj president Jagannath Ganiga said that the ideals of the late Kutpady Anand Ganiga will inspire new generation to do their mite for promoting theatre.
Kutpady Ramachandra Ganiga, brother of the late Anand Ganiga, said that Anand Ganiga was known to lead a disciplined and committed life. He also shared the sufferings of both family and brethrens in community.
JSKPPS vice-presidents lawyer Sanjeev Kanchan, lawyer Mohiudeen Mundkoor and Balakrishna B Bhandary, honorary treasurer, chartered accountant I R Shetty, renowned litterateur Dr Sunita M Shetty, Ganiga Samaj vice-president Bhaskar M Ganiga, chief secretary B V Ram and treasurer Chandrashekar R Ganiga were present on the dais.
JSKPPS honorary chief secretary Nityanand D Kotian, honorary secretary Rons Bantwal, Harish Kumar M Shetty, honorary joint treasurer Chandrashekar Belchada and past president Vishwanat U Mada offered condolences on the occasion.
