Mangaluru, Oct 30: Four people got injured in an incident in which four customers, who had come to a hotel at Falnir, picked up fight with the staff of the facility for trivial reason. When the argument went out of control, the customers fired on the personnel of the hotel and tried to escape.
The personnel of the hotel were successful in apprehending two of the miscreants, with the help of locals, and hand over to the police. Sahil (30), a resident of Falnir and three personnel of hotel got injured in the incident. Police sources have confirmed that Sahil has received wound that is caused by bullet-like thing on his thigh.
The gang of four people, which had come to the hotel at around 5.30 pm on Friday, October 30, had picked up fight with the staff of hotel saying that the tea and samosa served are not of good quality. This argument, later turned into ruckus and the four customers created ruckus by damaging the window panes and furniture of the hotel. The gang tried to escape from the hotel after damaging the property. However, two were caught by the personnel of the hotel as well as the public. Two managed to escape.
Sahil has received minor injuries on his thigh, which seem to be shot from a dummy pistol. Airgun would be quite lengthy and others can make a note of it if someone carries the same. So the police say that the wound might not have been created by the airgun.
According to police, clear picture will emerge only after the two miscreants, who managed to escape from the spot are caught.
