The organizers stated that they have invited all the respective MLAs for the meeting. But when they come, they will be given a respectable position amongst the people, not on the stage.

Goenkar against Marina, which is a non-political platform formed to oppose this project, has requested all the coordination members, village panchayat members of Taleigao, St Cruz, Merces, Curca Bambolim Talaulim, Siridao Pale, Batim, Goa Velha, Agassaim and other VP members of St Andre constituency and public, in general, to attend to save traditional occupation of fishing and fishermen, their houses, land and houses along the coast and other issues in river Zuari.

The NGO has thanked all the five village panchayats of Mormugao constituency and other NGOs to support them.

All the coordination members, VP members and other like-minded will be given the opportunity to express their views irrespective of which affiliation to political parties or NGOs without their banner.
