Kasargod, Oct 26: Covid-19 certificate has been made mandatory for people arriving from other states. The state government has decided to intensify tests in Talapady and other border areas.

Minister of health, K K Shailaja said that the government has decided to tighten restrictions to prevent the further spread of the pandemic. “It will be possible to contain the pandemic if coronavirus regulations are followed strictly by the people. Those who have recovered from the disease are now suffering from various other illnesses. The state government has decided to open clinics to provide health care to such people,” she said.

Covid-19 negative certificates were made compulsory for people arriving from outside the state earlier. But the restrictions were relaxed following the withdrawal of lockdown. Now, the restrictions have been enforced again as the coronavirus cases are on the rise. People arriving from outside the state have been also asked to register their names on the Covid portal. Meanwhile, the district administration has also decided to make use of the services of the department of health, police and revenue at the checkposts.

Other countries / states are in second wave...

but Kerala having wave after wave after wave...

after each wave, cent per cent literates dance with joy, thump chest and gloat about karela model, how UN appreciated, how other 'ordinary' states of India did not handle properly, how karela treated patients whether muslim or hindu without bothering muslim, hindu etc., how British minister called to find out etc. etc. etc.

and then back to square one... next wave...
