Kasargod, Oct 26: Covid-19 certificate has been made mandatory for people arriving from other states. The state government has decided to intensify tests in Talapady and other border areas.
Minister of health, K K Shailaja said that the government has decided to tighten restrictions to prevent the further spread of the pandemic. “It will be possible to contain the pandemic if coronavirus regulations are followed strictly by the people. Those who have recovered from the disease are now suffering from various other illnesses. The state government has decided to open clinics to provide health care to such people,” she said.
Covid-19 negative certificates were made compulsory for people arriving from outside the state earlier. But the restrictions were relaxed following the withdrawal of lockdown.
