Kundapur, Oct 20: “BJP party is based on doctrine and concepts. Other political parties in the country can be seen running like ancestral properties. Every activist is an asset for BJP,” said BJP Udupi district president Suresh Nayak Kuilady. He was speaking in the special Byndoor Mandala BJP executive meeting held in Chittur Sakala convention hall.
“The far-sighted schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have reached the last person of the society. It was difficult for such people to visit banks. The prime minister made them open Jan Dhan bank accounts and all the facilities reach to the accounts. Congress had not implemented the Swachh Bharat programme. Modi implemented the concept in the country. Toilets are constructed for almost each house in the country. Scams worth several lac crores have taken place during the ten years rule of the Manmohan Singh government that came to power in 2004 after Atal Bihari Vajpayee,” he said.
Byndoor block MLA B M Sukumar Shetty said that BJP will win the maximum number of seats in the upcoming gram panchayat elections. “Three panchayats are town panchayats out of 39. BJP will come to power in all the remaining panchayats,” he said.
Referring to Vandse self-help center, he said that panchayat cannot act in government buildings without permission from the district panchayat CEO. “About six girls were getting training in tailoring privately there. They are provided facilities elsewhere. The allegations that women are thrown to the streets are not true. People have identified that I am working for people in Byndoor,” he said.
BJP divisional convener Udaya Kumar Shetty, district chief secretary Sadananda Uppinakudru and district vice president Srisha Nayak were present.
Byndoor Mandala president Deepak Kumar Shetty gave an introductory address. Praiyadarshini welcomed. Byndoor Mandala chief secretary Prakash Poojary Jeddu rendered the vote of thanks.
