Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 17: Dakshina Kannada reported 172 fresh coronavirus cases and four deaths on Saturday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 28,131 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 3,485 are currently active. A total of 2,21,071 samples have been tested, out of which 1,92,940 are negative.

As many as patients 24,016 have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 212 on Saturday. A total of 628 deaths have occurred so far, including four on Saturday.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, Udupi reported 210 fresh coronavirus cases and one death on Saturday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 20,679 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 1,928 are currently active.

As many as 18,578 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 169 on Saturday. A total of 173 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Saturday.
