Mangaluru, Oct 13: Ullal unit of Hindu Jagran Vedike (HJV) has filed a complaint at Ullal police station, accusing the Dakshina Kannada district youth Congress president Mithun Rai, of making derogatory statements against Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath.
HJV said that Mithun had made insulting statement against Adityanath during the protest held by the Ullal block Congress recently at Thokkottu. Hindu Jagran Vedike district secretary Prakash Kumpala, said that Mithun Rai's statements that Adityanath is unfit to wear the saffron robes and threatened to blacken his face if he visits the city, are in the form of insulting the UP CM.

HJV leaders Charan Kuthar, Mahesh Pajeer and advocate Harshith were present.
In the meanwhile, Mithun dismissed as false propaganda the claims that he had insulted Yogi Adityanath. He said he respects Nath tradition and its Yogis. He said if his guilt is proved, he will immediately retire from politics and even offered to lay down his life.
Speaking at a protest meeting held at Puttur to condemn the gang rape at Hathras, he advised Yogi Adityanath to sit inside the Math if he is a real Yogi. He said if Yogi does that, he will visit him every month to touch his feet.
