Mangaluru: Unidentified men attack former taluk panchayat member at Kulshekar

Mangaluru, Oct 13: A former taluk panchayat member was attacked late night on Monday October 12 here.

Ulaibettu resident Yusuf, a former member of Mangaluru taluk panchayat, was attacked at Kulshekar here.

It is learnt that unidentified men came in a car and attacked Yusuf with swords.

The miscreants shattered the window panes of the car and escaped from the spot.

Yusuf was travelling to Ulaibettu when a bike deliberately rammed into his car and waylaid him at Kulshekar, after which the men in the other car attacked.

A seriously injured Yusuf has been admitted to hospital.

Kankanady rural police have registered a case.
