Panaji, Oct 8: As the state has been witnessing a rapid surge in the number of positive cases and death of Covid-19, Goenche Rakhonndar, an organization submitted a memorandum to deputy collector Satish Prabhu to help address the ongoing crisis. The organization in its memorandum stated 17-point charter of demands to tackle the Covid pandemic.
The organization also demanded a strict surveillance and medical in the state.
Subhash Kerkar and Jack Mascarenhas, the converners of Goenche Rakhonndar said that it is surprising that the state of Goa being one of the earliest to declare Covid free is currently turning into a death trap.
