Udupi, Oct 7: Kadaba police personnel have detained four people including a former BJP panchayat member over the illegal transport of cattle at Kadaba, Kodimbala.

The accused were found transporting two bulls to the slaughterhouse. Police detained the accused upon receiving definite information near Majjar cross, Kodimbala village.

The animals were being taken from Pulikukku. There are also declarations regarding a slaughterhouse that is being carried out in a house at Madyadka.

Police have confiscated an Alto car and rescued the bulls.

    Most of the leaders after getting elected have not done anything. Only thing they can project and fool people is cow, hindu/muslim! Even hatras rape and cremating the body at mid night could be a strategy to divert the attention of all farmers from newly introduced bills and farmers protest. I believe they succeeded to some extent.

    I want to know whether people are supposed to feed only female cattle (cows) but not bulls ? Look at these two - their rib cage is exposed due to starvation.

    Need to find out whom these to belong, and confiscate all cattle animals from them because they don't deserve to keep them. Just because the bulls don't profit, you have no right tot starve them. At the same time, have no right to protest if those two are taken for slaughter too. Proves that your love is not genuine, it is biased. Tilted towards cows because they give you milk to sell and make money.
