Sandalwood drugs scandal: Virender Khanna to undergo polygraph test

Bengaluru, Oct 3: The police wanting to extract as much information as possible from the main accused Virender Khanna who has been arrested in the Sandalwood drugs racket case will be subjected to a polygraph test.

The police said that the accused did not cooperate with the police investigation. As he has not been coming out with true facts, the police obtained permission of the court to subject him to polygraph test. They want to bring out several important details from him. After obtaining court's permission, they have written to the forensic science centre at Ahmedabad. On getting the permission from there Khanna will be taken there for polygraph tests, a central crime branch officer stated.

Anushree sheds tears: In the meantime, television anchor Asuhree, who faced questioning by the police on the allegations of drug abuse expressed having been hurt at being projected as guilty. In a video in which she is seen weeping Aushree said she was not worried at the polie notice and said she has done nothing wrong and just because she visited the city crime branch police does not mean that she has done something wrong. She said that her family is very much disturbed by the way she is being projected by certain quarters. At the same time she has thanked the pleople for standing by her at this hour.
