Bengaluru: 97% corona infected people in Karnataka asymptomatic

Bengaluru, Oct 2: The number of people getting infected with Covid-19 virus is on the rise in the state. However, 97% of the infected people do not show any symptoms of the disease.

In recent cases which are reported by the Covid war room analysing centre, most of the patients do not show any symptoms of the disease. Recently, when the figures crossed 2 lac, more than 80% were asymptomatic. Now that has gone up to 97%.

Most numbers of asymptomatic cases are reported from the district of Koppala in the state. Here in 99.9% of infected people, no signs of Covid were reported. In the districts of Yadagiri, Bidar, Kodagu, Haveri, Chikkaballapur, Ballari, Chitradurga and Raichur also 98% of the infected people were asymptomatic. Compared to other districts of Karnataka, Ramanagar district reported the least number of asymptomatic cases with 86.3%.

The percentage of infection in the state is 12%. This means that out of every 100 people who are being tested, 12 are turning positive for Covid. In Orissa, the corresponding number is 34, while Telangana is reporting only two.

    I feel this is correct and accurate figure given by the authority. But this I am sure will include a certain %age of falls +ve report also . May be taken the sample and not tested at all or few cases ( recently reported in the media) not taken sample but results shown +ve. But people are dying with Covid . So we need to believe majority are Asymptomatic and every chance of spreading the Covid by them is very high to the week , aged and already having health problems. In this scenario Every one must be made compulsory to wear mask in public places. Not wearing mask must be considered as crime and must be punished. This is the only way till we get vaccine and medicine for this virus. Once again make MARSK WEARING COMPULSORY.

    The numbers are scary.
    The total infections are 6,20,000 approx. If we remove 97%, approx. 18000 people are symptomatic, 30% of which are mild and not admitted hospitals.
    So out of 12600 people who are admitted to hospital 9000 people died!!! that is 70%!!!!

    I am only worried about the accuracy of the test results!
    What if 100% of all the 97% so called asymptotic people tests were falsely reported? I mean what if false positive cases?
    Scientists please put more light on this. There is no corona with them!

    The unending rising graph of Covid19 pandemic, is primarily due to asymptomatic carriers, who display no external signs of infection... Citizens are now resigned to their fate, or one may call it destiny !!! This curse does not spare the most powerful man on earth... USA President Donald Trump !!! Obviously he strutted like peacock, without mask or any social distancing, believing he was omnipotent !!!! This virus does not recognize nationalities, race, religion, ruler or the roadside subject.... Don't ever mess with this virus !!! It may cost you your life !!!!
