Karkala: Man commits suicide by shooting self with country-made gun

Karkala, Sep 27: A 45-year-man committed suicide on Sunday by shooting himself with a country-made gun. The incident is being reported from Hirgana taluk in Karkala.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Shetty, a resident of Chikkalbettu in Hirgana.

Sunil had returned to his native village during the lockdown. As per sources, Sunil was running hotel business in Pune. A case has been registered in Karkala police station.

Meanwhile, the exact reason behind the incident is unknown as more details in the same are awaited.

    Very sad.I can only imagine why he shot himself.As he was having a hotel in Pune was earning,had to pay lot of money as tax to govt,and commission to others (Hope you understand me),now corona is there no income,long time no income,has to pay labourers etc,no money was totally desperate,in such moments some people simply do anything what you get in the hand to end their life.Atleast someone could have prevented if they knew he had gun with him.never mind country made or out of shop,it serves its purpose same ,to end life.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.many times out ddesperate stage,they drink and that can be more dangerous.May his soul rest in peace.

    Very sad and may his soul rest in peace. This is the effect of acche din and dictatorship in the country. Now depositing money in PSU banks you are charged cash handling charge, cheque leaves you are charged and etc.

    Imposed because when PM Modi did not find Black money in Swiss Banks, he had no face to say that to the citizens whom he said that there is Black money stored @15 Lakhs per each Indian. So, he wanted to do tell that 'he wanted to claim the black money locally' and it was his trick. Whereas, people are not fools. They showed only what was permitted as per IT regulation because if they surrendered more, they will be sued. In the melee, BJP got the highest profit because on the evening prior to announcement, they had deposited all cash in their branches so that it is not considered as DeMo currency. Nevertheless, NaMo did not surrender for punishment as he assured us Indians upon announcing DeMo that he would, if DeMo fails.

    GST
    BJP opposed the move when UPA was suggesting it but ensured that GST comes into force during it's won rule. BJP's bad luck is that they couldn't manage the economy, couldn't pay the states their dues so now even they are culprits as regards to GST too

    Raid all politicians houses to get the money out .
    These hoteliers / small scale industries really worked 12 to 15 hours per day. Moreover, they gave jobs to many people. When they are now having difficulty. Govt. is showing an attitude like who cares ?
