Dubai, Sep 26: Dhwani Pratishthana - UAE is celebrating 35 years of glorious service in the fields of Kannada literature and theatre. As a valedictory programme of its year-long celebrations, Dhwani Pratishthana is organizing ‘Dhwani Vishwa Sahitya Chavadi Kathaaspardhe-2020’ (short story competition) in Kannada exclusively for all writers living outside India (NRIs).
The winner will be honoured with Dhwani Vishwa Sahitya Chavadi Prashasti - 2020 along with prize money of INR 10,000. The second prize will be INR 5,000 and there will be three consolation prizes of INR 1,500 each. A collection of top short stories selected will be published in book format as well.
The terms and conditions of the competition are as follows:
1. Short stories should be limited to within 8 pages in A4 paper size
2. Short story should be self-written and unpublished anywhere
3. Competition is open to all NRIs living in any country outside India
4. Stories should be in the digital form written in Unicode, Baraha or Nudi script
5. Writer’s details like name address profile and photo should also be attached with the story

President of Dhwani Pratishthana, Prakash Rao Payyar requested the NRI Kannada authors to make this contest successful by their participation.
