Udupi, Sep 19: Paryaya Adamaru Sree Eshapriyatheertha Sripada, under the guidance of Sree Vishwapriyatheertha Sripada had decided to allow the entry of devotees inside the Sri Krishna Math from September 28. The details were informed at a press conference.
The entry for devotees inside the Math was banned from March 22 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The devotees will be allowed inside the temple only from 2 pm to 5 pm. All local and outstation devotees have to enter the temple only through the northern entrance which is near the Rajangana.
Local devotees could enter the temple through Madhwa Sarovara in coming days but as of now all devotees have to enter the temple only through the northern entrance. Local devotees who want to enter the temple from entrance gate 10 have to take mandatory entry letter from the Math. Alternately, they can enter the temple through the Rajangana route.
All devotees should compulsorily wear masks and maintain social distance. Sanitizer facility is made available which needs to be used. Devotees are requested to follow the instructions of security personnel. As senior citizens and children are prone to infection, it is advised for them to stay at home and pray. The prasada meal will be started in future days after taking into account the situation. Theertha Prasada will also be distributed in future.
Instead of lighting diyas of ghee and gingelly oil the devotees are requested to take pure gingelly that is available in the Math counter and offer to Lord Krishna. The swamis inside the temple use the oil made from the pure gingelly that is offered by the devotees to light diyas of Sri Mukyaprana God.
Though so many arrangements are made the administrative committee of the Math and seer Sree Eshapriyatheertha Sripada have requested senior citizens and children to remain at home and pray.
Local devotees could view the newly built entry and exit ways of the Math. If they enter through the new entry points it would be like putting Pradakshina to Garuda Mukhyaprana God.
Govindraj, manager of the Math, Sri Ramana Acharya, Yashpal Suvarna, Dinesh Puthran, Hightech Pradeep Rao, Santhosh Kumar Udyavara, Madhava Upadhyaya and Srinivasa Pejathaya were present.
