Mangaluru, Sep 17: The installation of the newly appointed principal and vice-principal of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College was held on September 16 at 3 pm at the college auditorium of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte.
The programme was presided over by Fr Richard A Coelho, the director of Father Muller Charitable Institution and was graced by Fr Roshan Crasta the administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.
Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran the newly appointed principal of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Dr Vilma Meera D’Souza, newly appointed vice-principal/Internal Quality Assurance Cell coordinator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College were inducted to their offices in the presence of the director.
Dr Shivaprasad K the former principal of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Dr G Rajachandra the programme coordinator, members of the staff, postgraduates and interns witnessed the programme. A prayer service was conducted by Dr Sr Soumya. The programme coordinator, Dr G Rajachandra welcomed the gathering.
Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran expressed his gratitude to the management and reminded the gathering that to put forth our foot in the medical field, work the field of research and publication needs to be kept up.
Dr Vilma Meera D’Souza thanked the management for bestowing her with responsibilities and promised to promote the name of the college and requested support from all for the same.
Dr Shivaprasad K expressed his heartfelt gratitude throughout his growth and journey at Father Muller Institutions and placed on record sincere thanks from the office staff for all the support in discharging his duties.
The new management committee members comprising of Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran, Dr Vilma Meera D’Souza, Dr Girish Navada U K, medical superintendent; Dr M K Kamath, UG and PG advisor; Dr Jyoshna Shivaprasad, PG coordinator; Dr Jacintha Monteiro, UG coordinator; Dr Deepa Pais, deputy medical superintendent; Dr Ranjan Britto, interns coordinator followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais symbolizing a new beginning.
Also on this occasion, Fr Roshan Crasta mentioned his heartfelt gratitude to the former principal for his services and reminded the gathering that self-realisation should be the ultimate goal by which we identify our strength and weaknesses and work upon them.
In his presidential address, the director congratulated the newly formed management committee and wished them good luck in their future endeavours and reminded everyone that change is inevitable and no one is indispensable. Because of this we must embrace all changes with utmost sincerity and work for the better future of the students and the institution.
The programme was streamed live on YouTube for the students. The vote of thanks was proposed from the MC desk. Dr Deeraj and Dr Heleena were the MCs for the day.
