Mangalore, Apr 5: `Medha - 10' - a state level technical fest was conducted by the Department of Master of Computer Application of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Mangalore here recently.
It was a unique fest, a kaleidoscope of technical and non-technical extravaganza aimed at providing the students an opportunity for self discovery.
It was a voyage with an emphasis on reaching the goal of self-actualization by igniting the young minds of students and providing an effective conduit to achieve it.
Chairman of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, A Sadananda Shetty, secretary Maina S Shetty, vice chairman Nidhish Shetty, Mahesh Kamath of Infosys, Dr Devaraj, principal of SDM College of, Dr K E Prakash, principal, SDIT were present on the occasion of the inauguration of the fest.
Programmes like Eclat (technical Quiz), Maverick, Avid (C Programming), Beatles (assembling) Magpie (Cyber Hunt), Ingenious (debugging) Ameoba (gaming zone) etc., formed the main events of the fest.
This was followed by the presentation of cultural programmes that showcased the multifarious talents of the students. Dr Prakash R, NITK, Surathkal, was the Chief Guest of the valedictory function.
