Beltangady, Sep 13: In a ghastly accident that occurred at Badyar of Padangadi village in the taluk, a man lost his life after his scooty collided with a truck here on Sunday September 13.
The deceased has been identified as Girish Moolya, a resident of Gardadi.
The truck was moving from Aladangadi side while the scooty was being driven in the opposite direction.
Due to the impact of the collision, the rider fell directly under the truck and died on the spot.
