Kundapur: Former BJP block president Sheena S Suvarna passes away

Kundapur, Sep 3: Senior leader of fishermen in the coast, former president of BJP Kundapur Vidhan Sabha constituency, Sheena S Suvarna Kumbhashi (71) passed away after a brief illness on Thursday September 3.

He was identified for his active participation in religious, social, cooperative and political sectors besides being a leader of fishermen in coast. He served as president of Kundapur BJP constituency from 1996 to 1999.

He served in the cooperative sector being the vice president of Beejadi fisheries cooperative society. He was the secretary of Gopady Chikkamma temple, Rama Mandira.

He has left behind wife, three daughters and a son.
