Dubai: Blood donation drive held by Karnataka Cultural Foundation

Dubai, Aug 10: KCF UAE on August 7 successfully conducted its first blood donation camp under the Welfare Division at Latheefa Blood Donation Centre, here, under the slogan 'Be with us for Humanitarian Service'. As many as 265 people from Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman participated in the camp. KCF national, zonal and sector leaders were present at the venue.

Taranath Rai, CEO Al Fardhan Exchange, Jayakar Rai, Tulu Okkoota Dubai, Mohammed Ashraf, manager - Maga Star Jewellers, Floyed Kiran of News Karnataka were also among the blood donors. Earlier, on July 24, KCF Abu Dhabi zone also organized a blood camp under the same slogan and more than 105 donors including KCF INC leaders, Janab PMH Hamid Eshwaramangalam, Janab Hamid Saadi Eshwaramangalam joined the blood donation camp. Yogesh Prabhu, president, Indian Social Centre visited and applauded the blood donation drive.

To support the DHA Blood Bank, KCF took the initiative to ensure that blood donations are continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.



The blood donation camp was supported by Janab Abdul Samad of Al Mazhar Metal Electroplating Company Sharjah, Bahar Al Noor Restaurant Al Qusais, Janab Iqbal Siddakatte, Al Rabiha Group, Janab Abdul Khadar Salettur, Al Buraq Services LLC, Janab Abdul Latheef Ajman.

Abdul Jaleel Nizami, KCF UAE president, Moosa Basara, KCF UAE general secretary, Zainuddin Haji, KCF UAE Welfare president, KCF UAE blood donation drive chairman Nawaz Haji Kotekar and co-ordinators Rifay Goonadka and Rafiq Mulki expressed their gratitude to all the sponsors and donors for their support.
