The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging period for everyone across the globe. As the world battles this challenge, Goa Diocesan Centre appeals to people of all religions, caste and creed to get together with intent; and remain calm and hopeful with faith.
First and foremost, people need to do what everyone needs to do - follow the COVID guidelines to stay safe.
But it is extremely important for everyone to get together as one humanity and face the situation with tolerance, compassion, kindness, love and respect for each other.
Video ‘Vhell Kaklutichho’
A new Konkani video song titled ‘Vhell Kaklutichho’ with a special message is set for release on August 4, the occasion of Pastors' Day.
Speaking on the launch, director of the project, Robert Cabral stated, “The Goa Diocesan Centre has assembled some of Goa’s finest singers, musicians, artistes and singers to convey the importance of the message to everyone across the world.
‘Vhell Kaklutichho’ is produced by Jimmy Fernandes, managing director of Jadser Audio – Panjim, and directed by Robert Cabral.
Robert Cabral and Fr Rony Fernandes have been instrumental in executing the project to its finest details.
Lead singer and the team
The video is conceptualized and sung by Sanio Fernandes along with his team of musicians comprising of Rushz Baracho – drums, Nerissa Cardozo – keyboards, Victor Da Costa and Vailanni Fernandes - violins, Grayston Vaz – rhythm guitar, Linus Fernandes - bass guitar.
The music arrangement is done by Frazer Andrew Pacheco while cinematography and post-production are credited to Josephern.
The lyrics of the song are based on a concept devised by Sanio Fernandes and penned by Baltazar Pontes from Aldona, based in Kuwait.
Dubbing is done at Veltune Studio, Benaulim; the audio track is mixed and mastered by Roy Siena Studio, Sharjah.
Acknowledgement and credits
Some of the key people involved in making the video memorable and captivating include Fr Rony Fernandes - general secretary of Goa Diocesan Centre for Social Communications.
Nerissa Cardozo is another individual who has incessantly coordinated with the team, shouldering responsibility for costume design and implementation while also being one of the important artistes and musicians in the video.
Global Goan Alliance and its representative Savio Ribeiro have also played a huge part in the project.
Jimmy Fernandes, managing director of JADSER Audio has financed and produced the video executing the concept and sets planned by Sanio to its finest details.
Robert Cabral, the director of the video, well-known for organizing ‘Kor Kantar’ musical events at Taleigao along with Jimmy Fernandes, put his best efforts to bring to life a message of love and compassion that is sure to touch everyone’s heart and inspire a change through ‘Vhell Kaklutichho’.
