How widespread is the infection in Mangalore is evident from the fact that out of 31900 samples sent so far 14% have been found positive! This is high by any standards. The DC has stopped giving details of how many samples are being sent nowadays daily. When you go around you can see many people still wearing masks at the chin. Some people slide the mask down when they have to speak. They crowd the shops when they should be waiting for their turn and to make it worse they slide their chin down. What was the purpose of one week's lockdown? The period should be used for aggressive testing and isolation. The authorities should do random sampling in the areas where cases are more. Otherwise this will continue for long. What will happen if infection spreads to rural areas?

Hide n seek game by the pollitutes is advancing by there methods... If they publish the locations area wise or seal down the particular localaity of the concerned persons to certain specific limit after intimation( NOT JUST THERE NEIGHBOR HOOD)... Spread can be in control... Just the number of cases would only make people fall into fear of surviving...This is the time to show that surviving is based on being the safest.. Seeing the danger people will stop commuting towards the spread
.. since UDUPI has reached to the COMMUNITY SPREAD stage... Please Udupians stay home , stay safe.

we are going in completely wrong direction. Yes once this disease comes, there is a good chance of death.. look at that.. 44 year old died due to respiratory failure. I think he was very healthy otherwise. So unfortunate. Wuhan like situation at every city.
