Panaji MLA Monserrate admitted to hospital, stable

Panaji, Jul 24: Panaji MLA Atanasio Monserrate, after falling ill, was admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) at Bambolin on Thursday, July 23.

As per reported to the media, Santa Cruz MLA Antonio Fernandes said that the doctors say its the case of vertigo.

"Today morning, he was complaining about dizziness after which he was examined by a local doctor, who suspected it to be a case of vertigo. Later we shifted him to GMC," Fernandes said.

He further said that the MLA is doing well and stable yet he would be kept in the hospital for two-four days under observation.

Chief minister Pramod Sawant, Health minister Vishwajit Rane, BJP state president Sadanand Shet Tanavade visited him in the hospital.
