Kolar, Jul 23: "If Siddaramaiah was the chief minister of Karnataka at this time of crisis when coronavirus infection has thrown all activities out of gear, perhaps even God would have found it impossible to save Karnataka from certain doom," said MP and state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel.
He was speaking to the media during his visit to Kolar. "The BJP government here has successfully handled the corona issue. As chief minister B S Yediyurappa, has the grace and blessings of the Lord, the situation is coming under control in Karnataka. If Siddaramaiah had continued as chief minister, even the Lord would have found it impossible to come to the rescue of the state," he commented, directing barbs at Siddaramaiah.
Nalin said that the Congress leaders have been unnecessarily charging the government with medical kit scandal. “The opposition party, which should have joined hands with the government during this emergency situation, has been indulging in politics. When the BJP was in the opposition, we had supported the government in times of emergency. But now, the Congress is trying to reap benefit out of the situation," he said.
