Abu Dhabi, Jul 17: After reopening some beaches and parks in early July, Abu Dhabi is set to reopen more public parks and beaches adopting various safety measures.
The media office of Abu Dhabi issued a statement on Thursday July 17 which stated that the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport has announced the reopening of more beaches and public parks in the Emirates capital. As a part of the second stage of reopening, Al Ain and Al Dhafrah at 40 percent capacity periodically undertaking extensive sterilization process.
Other preventive measures to be taken would include the permissible limit of only four persons per group and thermal cameras installed at the entrances to check temperatures.
Mask is mandatory for all beach goers whereas the showers would remain closed.
Eateries and beverage outlets would be permitted to operate with 30 percent capacity with only four persons per table at a distance of 2.5 metres between tables.
The parks to be reopened include - Delma Park, Sharea Park, Kathem Park, Wathba Park, Rabdan Park, Shahama Park 1 all in Abu Dhabi. Green Mubazzarah Park in Al Ain. Al Mirfa Park and Zayed Al Khair Park in Al Dhafrah.
The beaches to be reopened include Al Bateen Beach in Abu Dhabi.
