Abu Dhabi, Jun 29: The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in UAE has temporarily suspended all inbound flights from Pakistan including the transit flights. The decision was taken as a precautionary measure with regards to the ongoing pandemic.

The GCAA said that the suspension would remain in effect until the country has established a process of laboratory testing for COVID-19 for all travellers to or via UAE.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority on late Sunday, June 28 said, "This is a precautionary measure to ensure the health and safety of all the arrivals as of Monday, June 29, 2020."

GCAA has appealed all the intending travellers affected by the decision to contact their airlines for rescheduling their flights.
