Ramanagara: Tahsildar clears disputed cross from government pasture

Ramanagara, Jun 24: The taluk administration here, on Tuesday June 23, cleared a cross that had been illegally erected in government pasture land. The pasture land in question is located at Harnagudde near Gollara Chennayyanadoddi village in the district.

The cross was removed as per the high court order. A team of officials led by tahsildar, Narasimhamurty, reached the spot at 6 am on Tuesday. They removed the statue of mother Mary and the concrete cross of a height of about 15 feet.
